Photo Styling with Mini Weiner Doggie (^•^)

9.13.2010

Working on a project for the Blogging Your Way online class that I'm currently taking this month. Remember the hand carved stamp I did? Well, I figured I could use it in my project and I was having my kind of fun arranging it this way and that way for a photo.

I cut out my stamped image and stuck him on a spool of thread that I got from my sister Hillary. I placed that on layers of petals that I had cut to form a flower. I snapped my photo.

Later, I took a photo from a different angle. I also stuck a doily under the petals. I got my pack of doilies from my mom during my last trip home to Kauai. I can always shop in her craft stash and find lots of cool things to use.

This is what you can find me doing in the day while I'm at home. I can do this stuff forever, it's super fun for me! Plus, I had lots of coffee to keep me going, and some great music in the air. My kind of perfect day. (^•^) Mini weiner doggie will appear in a little spot in my project that I hope to post soon.

Thank you so much to the wonderful Minitoko for hooking me up with the cute Doodle-Doo digital clip art you see in the 1st and 2nd photo. XOXO!!!

  5. Aloha Marie!
Thank you so much for visiting (^•^) so glad that you could find bits of inspiration here! It's the reason why I love blogging. As for the Winter BYW button, I was a student in Holly's previous class...and the class before that too..haha. So that's where those buttons came from. I'm sure that Holly will make new buttons for Autumn 2010 when we're just about completed with class.

Hi there! Photography and art featured on this blog, unless where noted, came from my camera and were made or styled by my hands. Do not remove my watermarks or copyright markings from my photos (please see previous sentence). I won't bite, well unless you infringe on my copyright. But really, send me an email, I'm pretty nice. The snail mail on my blog includes my mail or the work from other artists and pen friends. I do my best to give everyone credit. But, in the case where I have missed the proper credit please contact me to address it. If you would like to re-blog or pin any of my original works please be the awesome person that you are and give me a shout out a.k.a. proper credit, and link it back here. Speaking of links, I do on occasion link out to other sites, however I am not responsible for the content you find on those sites. Sometimes clicking on a link I’ve provided may be a link to a site that will give me a small commission if you buy something from them. Which means that I might get paid (hopefully not in gum) if you click on that link, whoo-hoo.
