: Today's crafty mess and a fashion fantasy :

Today I am cutting and collage-ing my illustrations of my girls into fat, fab, frou-frou gowns. And I'm pretty much getting distracted while doing that and surfing the web, mesmerized by John Galliano and his genius.

I would so love to be wearing this in the house today...complete with silvery sparkles:

and I want to pile on pearls on my wrists like this:

And I want to add all sorts of gems, badges, and buttons to my jacket like this:

And no matter what color I'm wearing, I'll add a pop of color with a glove this cool. And I also want sequins and heavy embroidery on my skirt:

And now here's a glimpse of my paper cut out, collage mess in progress. Hopefully I'll have something completed to show you soon.

Go get your craft on :)

  1. I´m cutting hundreds of paper butterflies, does that count?
Love the pearls and the dress. The jacket is a little too much for me.
I´m not that into fashion, but I love to look at it and discover new creations. Thank you for showing it.

  2. Hi Euphoria,
Hundreds, wow! That's a project! Definitely counts :)
The jacket is very extravagant and that's what I like so much about it. It's fun and out of this world. I have extravagant dreams, I'd wear this in the house :D. Almost like playing dress up while you were little, it's my fancy day dream :)

  3. Hi Merissa! Thanx for your comment at my blog:) That foto of the sonny angles was shot by my Nikon d80 with the lens 50/1,4 i lighten it up in PS a bit and did some contrast, thats it:) Welocome back to me somtetime:) And a whis u a nice weekend!

    XO Mia

pssst sorry but my english is not that perfect;)

  4. Nice dream!!!
If you ever wear it in your home, don´t forget to take a picture of yourself with your new camera.
I used to wear all kind of dresses and shoes and dance and sing like a super star when I was little, that was something I loved to do. Sometimes we just forget to play and have fun!
The butterflies are for Lara´s bedroom, I want to stick them on the wall. We´ll see how that goes. If I like it, I would post it on my blog, that´s for sure!
Have a great weekend and Happy mother´s day!

So happy you paid me a visit. Mahalo!

The snail mail on my blog includes my mail or the work from other artists and pen friends. I do my best to give everyone credit. But, in the case where I have missed the proper credit please contact me to address it. If you would like to re-blog or pin any of my original works please be the awesome person that you are and give me a shout out a.k.a. proper credit, and link it back here. Speaking of links, I do on occasion link out to other sites, however I am not responsible for the content you find on those sites. Sometimes clicking on a link I’ve provided may be a link to a site that will give me a small commission if you buy something from them. Which means that I might get paid (hopefully not in gum) if you click on that link, whoo-hoo. Reason why I’m telling you is because I want to be honest with you and frankly, because it’s illegal not to.
