: Love is patient, love is kind, love is also SWEET :

May is usually a busy month for me. My mom's birthday is May 7th, mines is on May 9th, which also happened to land on Mother's Day this year. My sister Brittany is having her first baby and a shower this May. Also, our wedding anniversary is in May. This 2010 brings us to 9 years together. My, the time has flown by. It's been a wonderful 9 years of fun and friendship, most importantly.

One evening I had a big idea for a little photo project. It was to capture a ring and photograph it with sweets. So, Keith drove me to Walmart especially for my candy hunt. Luckily, Walmart is open 24 hours here. Here are a few of the photos I came up with.

Mahalo to my hubby Keith, who always supports my hobbies and my spontaneous hobby urges :) One day, I'll teach him how to assist me with my photography ;) lighting please. Ha!

  1. Congratulations!!!
The pictures are so naive, so pure!
They remind me of all the romantic ideas I had about love when I was younger.
Marriage is about all that and a lot of extra experiences related to friendship, just like you wrote. The important thing is to walk together through all the places and situations this world offers...
    Congratulations again!

  2. Thank you so much Euphoria. I had fun taking on this project. Friendship is a big part of it and I am very lucky that we get along so well. Thank you too, for your great advice and kind words. Mahalo for always paying me a visit and sharing your Aloha! :)
    xo, Merissa.

Hi there! Photography and art featured on this blog, unless where noted, came from my camera and were made or styled by my hands. You may not use my photos for profit or on commercial websites, but we might be able to work something out with a dozen chocolate macarons, and a juicy deal. Do not remove my watermarks or copyright markings from my photos (please see previous sentence). I won't bite, well unless you infringe on my copyright. But really, send me an email, I'm pretty nice. The snail mail on my blog includes my mail or the work from other artists and pen friends. I do my best to give everyone credit. But, in the case where I have missed the proper credit please contact me to address it. If you would like to re-blog or pin any of my original works please be the awesome person that you are and give me a shout out a.k.a. proper credit, and link it back here. Speaking of links, I do on occasion link out to other sites, however I am not responsible for the content you find on those sites. Sometimes clicking on a link I’ve provided may be a link to a site that will give me a small commission if you buy something from them. Which means that I might get paid (hopefully not in gum) if you click on that link, whoo-hoo. Reason why I’m telling you is because I want to be honest with you and frankly, because it’s illegal not to. That said, I promise to use any affiliate commissions earned for good cause: like stationery hauls and lattes. Thank you kindly, Merissa
