: Jo Malone, Fresh, Kai, parfums I adore :

I love parfums. I love perfumes. However you choose to say it in whatever language, I LOVE 'em! A little spritz on the back of the neck, at the bend of the arm, behind the knees, on my wrists, in my hair...I love a pretty fragrance. I like sweet florals and vanilla, and sometimes a soft musk. Somedays a little feminine and other days I'll wear my Ralph Lauren Purple Label for men. That's right, I'll use le parfum d'hommes. Parfums are beautiful, they can lift your mood and complete an outfit. There are so many wonderful fragrances out there that I want to enjoy them all!

One of my first fragrances was Liz Taylor's White Diamonds. I was probably around 13 years old. And  just in love with that scent. I probably discovered it through a fashion magazine in one of those tear outs with the tester strips.  And if I can remember correctly, my grandmother Carlina, purchased it for me at Liberty House. Later on I remember falling in love with Poeme by Lancome and Annick Goutal.

Some of my current loves are:
: Orange Blossom by Jo Malone. I also have the body lotion, it smells so good!
Kai. I also have Kai's perfume oil, body wash, and body glow.
: Cannabis Santal and Mangosteen by Fresh. I also use their body lotions and soap bars.

What are your current loves or your signature fragrance?

I found an interesting article on the history of parfum here: {{click}}

If only I had a sail boat, so I could drench my sails with perfume like Cleopatra did. Hmmm, that might actually cost a lot if I were using Kai or Jo Malone to drench sails.

Spritz, spritz, spritz!

  1. Beautiful pictures!
    I love Daisy by Marc!

  2. ohhhh perfume bottles are so pretty to look at! and there's something so luxurious about them! my interest in perfume has actually only piqued recently so i'm DEFINITELY going to try some of the ones on your list! cheers! :D

  3. Have fun with your fragrance shopping! If you have an Anthropologie boutique in your town (here in Hawaii we don't :( ...) they have pretty fragrances there too!

  4. ApachesPrincess: Daisy by Marc Jacobs has the prettiest bottle :) I've never tried it yet. But the next time I'm in Neimans or Sephora, I will spritz some!

So happy you paid me a visit. Mahalo!

Hi there! Photography and art featured on this blog, unless where noted, came from my camera and were made or styled by my hands. You may not use my photos for profit or on commercial websites, but we might be able to work something out with a dozen chocolate macarons, and a juicy deal. Do not remove my watermarks or copyright markings from my photos (please see previous sentence). I won't bite, well unless you infringe on my copyright. But really, send me an email, I'm pretty nice. The snail mail on my blog includes my mail or the work from other artists and pen friends. I do my best to give everyone credit. But, in the case where I have missed the proper credit please contact me to address it. If you would like to re-blog or pin any of my original works please be the awesome person that you are and give me a shout out a.k.a. proper credit, and link it back here. Speaking of links, I do on occasion link out to other sites, however I am not responsible for the content you find on those sites. Sometimes clicking on a link I’ve provided may be a link to a site that will give me a small commission if you buy something from them. Which means that I might get paid (hopefully not in gum) if you click on that link, whoo-hoo. Reason why I’m telling you is because I want to be honest with you and frankly, because it’s illegal not to. That said, I promise to use any affiliate commissions earned for good cause: like stationery hauls and lattes. Thank you kindly, Merissa
