I have this infatuation with prints and design and along with that comes my addiction to those sort of things. Wheter it's art and fashion books, fabric, stationery, packaging, buildings, furniture, digital art, illustration, jewelry, it's all eye candy! This stuff is all around us but sometimes we are so caught up in the daily grind that we don't look. I've even found myself taking the pleasure of examining nature around me...trees and their interesting patterns on their trunks, patterns and colors on leaves and flower petals, we have a lot of plants here in Hawaii which makes us so fortunate! Checking out the skies and clouds and noticing their colors and shapes. The skies here are so spectacular and different everyday making every glance interesting. Have you taken the time to notice? Hmm...but nothing beats the sky on Kauai especially at night! You can see everything...kazillions of stars...that is, when the big island doesn't send us any vog. And the ocean...ah this will trail on, so I will write on the ocean later. Now back to my post, which I thought was going to be short.

So, I thought it would be a fun thing for me...and maybe not you, sorry...for me to occasionally post my collection of obsessions and maybe things that catch my eye here and there.

Here it goes: Color. When I think of October, the first color that comes to mind is ORANGE. Of course there are a ton of other colors associated with October and Halloween, but I'm focusing on only ORANGE. So, as a part of my print and design infatuation post, here are two greeting cards from my stash that have ORANGE in them.

And "Nerdy Pumpkin Head" is ORANGE.

ORANGE-you-happy that this post is over? Haha...

Hi there! Photography and art featured on this blog, unless where noted, came from my camera and were made or styled by my hands. You may not use my photos for profit or on commercial websites, but we might be able to work something out with a dozen chocolate macarons, and a juicy deal. Do not remove my watermarks or copyright markings from my photos (please see previous sentence). I won't bite, well unless you infringe on my copyright. But really, send me an email, I'm pretty nice. The snail mail on my blog includes my mail or the work from other artists and pen friends. I do my best to give everyone credit. But, in the case where I have missed the proper credit please contact me to address it. If you would like to re-blog or pin any of my original works please be the awesome person that you are and give me a shout out a.k.a. proper credit, and link it back here. Speaking of links, I do on occasion link out to other sites, however I am not responsible for the content you find on those sites. Sometimes clicking on a link I’ve provided may be a link to a site that will give me a small commission if you buy something from them. Which means that I might get paid (hopefully not in gum) if you click on that link, whoo-hoo. Reason why I’m telling you is because I want to be honest with you and frankly, because it’s illegal not to. That said, I promise to use any affiliate commissions earned for good cause: like stationery hauls and lattes. Thank you kindly, Merissa
