I've been getting my craft on recently..haha. Well, I was asked to make a card for my co-worker Eileen's baby shower. The party theme was Juicy Couture since she's having a girl, so I decided to go with that theme. But after looking through all my blank cards from...my most favorite shop ever: Paper Source, in CA., I decided that a small card won't do. After all, check out my birthday card from everyone...

So I came up with hand drawn images that I painted and cut up. Oh, and since Eileen and Conan haven't thought up a name yet for their baby, I had to think of something Juicy Couture-ish.

And I drew my own doggie shape like the Scottish terriers that are on the Juicy crest:

Here's another photo of my piece next to the actual Juicy Couture monogram which was my inspiration:

Then I finished it off by sticking my image onto 12x12 paper...more room for everyone! I had them write around the image. I'll later frame it so she can hang on the wall of her daughter's nursery. I'm going to do a frilly, fou-fou gold frame..hehe. Oh it will be so cute!
Voila!

Oh, and my sister Hillary has been getting her craft on too. Okay, she's just started learning how to use the sewing machine and she's already whipping up handbags, has her own label: miss.hillary, and her bags are being snatched up by every female relative on Kauai...they go over to the house and have first dibs on her latest creations. Check out her matching mom and daughter handbags...so cute! The baby size is tinsy, just look at it next to the soda can for size!

Hi there! Photography and art featured on this blog, unless where noted, came from my camera and were made or styled by my hands. You may not use my photos for profit or on commercial websites, but we might be able to work something out with a dozen chocolate macarons, and a juicy deal. Do not remove my watermarks or copyright markings from my photos (please see previous sentence). I won't bite, well unless you infringe on my copyright. But really, send me an email, I'm pretty nice. The snail mail on my blog includes my mail or the work from other artists and pen friends. I do my best to give everyone credit. But, in the case where I have missed the proper credit please contact me to address it. If you would like to re-blog or pin any of my original works please be the awesome person that you are and give me a shout out a.k.a. proper credit, and link it back here. Speaking of links, I do on occasion link out to other sites, however I am not responsible for the content you find on those sites. Sometimes clicking on a link I’ve provided may be a link to a site that will give me a small commission if you buy something from them. Which means that I might get paid (hopefully not in gum) if you click on that link, whoo-hoo. Reason why I’m telling you is because I want to be honest with you and frankly, because it’s illegal not to. That said, I promise to use any affiliate commissions earned for good cause: like stationery hauls and lattes. Thank you kindly, Merissa
