{ Postage Stamps } A trip to the post office.

I went to the post office today to mail a letter and picked up a few things. The stamp geek in me had to share my latest stamp acquisition. (^•^) The 2012 Bonsai stamps
After a nice little chat with the postman, I also got a sheet of the US Merchant Marine stamps when he pointed out that our Honolulu landmark: Diamond Head, was in one of the stamp backgrounds. Cool! I appreciate friendly postmen and postwomen. They make a trip to the post office a pleasant thing.

Here it is:

And the recently released: Arizona Statehood stamp.

  1. I just went to the post office yesterday to pick up some new stamps. Those bonsai stamps are pretty!

  2. These are some lovely stamps! It's funny, I send my hubby to the post office all the time and tell him to pick up some "cute" stamps. Unfortunately, he says he is too embarrassed to ask the lady for "cute" stamps, so he usually brings home whatever boring stamp that is most common at that time. But, I can see how pretty stamps really add a lot to your mailings. Maybe I should just head to the post office myself! :)

  3. my post office is still trying to sell me christmas stamps.

  4. Hi Jaime! Ooh I can't wait to see what treasures you've found at your post office (^•^)

Hi Anna:Looks like you'll be frequenting your post office (^•^) Sometimes I have to print out pictures of the exact thing I'm looking for when I'm sending the hubs. I like that you tell him to get "cute" stamps, haha. One of the post offices that I frequent, puts all of their stamps in a binder so it's easy and quick to skim through when choosing stamps, I love them for it.

Hey Alicia: Haahaa! I love that they're trying to sell you Christmas stamps :) that's too funny. I can never find Christmas stamps at this time of year at my post office, they're sold out.

  5. these are awesome! what a great mail treat!
    hope all is well merissa!

  6. uhhh the Bonsai stamps are so cute (* . *)

    1. Thanks Luciana, aren't those bonsai stamps great? I'm keeping some just so I can look at them :)

So happy you paid me a visit. Mahalo!
